"Sir, our ground troops have mentioned that Pictos was destroyed by the fighters that resisted the stasis field."
"Ah, so they could do it... Get the lead scientist up here, now."s
[Cappy is taking it rather well so far, constrast to his original anger at the discovery of resistance who evaded the time-freeze. ;P]
"Yes sir!" The officer saluted and ran off. About fifteen minutes later, a man in a while lab coat approached the captain.
"You wished to see me, sir?"
"Ah yes. I need you and your team to develop the ultimate fighter to rid that planet of the ones who are immune to the field's effects. I want you to make it as strong as you can, for those people at one point might mess up my plans."
[Yeah, because ACs are a tricky bunch. They don't die easily, if ever at all. >.>]
"I see. What attributes would you like to see in this fighter?"
The captain thought for a moment. "I'd say the ability to pull oneself back together from a particularly strong attack(s). A high power level, and... basically indestructible."
[This sound familar in any ways to you? o.o]
"Me and my team will get right on it." The technician left for the lab.
Five hours later...
"Sir, we believe that we have done the job." The deck began to shake from a footstep. A creature approached, but not the one some might expect.
"That thing is indestructible?" The captain asked, ready to burst into a side-splitting laughing fit.
[Oh Cappy, you slay me. :P]
"Yes. It may look weak, but it's very strong. In fact, almost all of my team was eaten by this."
"Wha?" The captain's tone changed. "Well, let's test it against them. Send it to the surface. Oh, and does that thing have a name?"
"Um, how about something... cute, to throw people off? Like... Smidgen?"
[And say hello to Major Enemy #2: SMIDGEN. :D]
"Smidgen?" The captain's mouth was agog. "Smidgen?!"
The creature responded to the name, cooing and hopping up and down with excitement.
The scientist gave a small smirk. "I guess he likes the name."
"JUST SEND IT TO THE SURFACE!" the captain shouted.
[I imagine the captain sounding like Carl Winslow in Family Matters when he's yelling at Steve Urkel after one of his inventions blows up in his vicinity. XD God I loved Family Matters. :,)]

Smidgen landed near the Threed forest, where the group was sensed to be located near. Smidgen looked around and located the group, immediately taking up the challenge.
(Smidgen = strong Kirby-like monster w/ extreme hunger + the ability to combine all powers eaten + once eats person, gets their power permanently until destroyed)
[Yeah, in some way though, he can be compared to Majin Buu from Dragonball Z as well. Kirby and Buu share some similar traits in how they eat enemies to absorb powers and eliminate them, but Smidgen is more Kirby like... at first. You'll see what I mean by that, soon enough. >.>]

Ah, yes. Smidgen, the Kirby-like monster that I thought up (forgive me, I was very into DBZ at the time >_>').
ReplyDeleteAs a side note, I named this creature after one of my cats. I was having an issue of thinking up a name, when I went towards the whole "let's make up a cute name to throw people off" deal. So I chose my cat's name.
Meh, don't be sorry you were[still are?] into DB. My central fiction right now uses a ton of DB elements, and I'm not ashamed. It's just when you're such a fanboy that you think Goku can one-shot people like Chuthlu or Hulk. :o
