[Oh yes, this is also another reason ACs look out for one another a lot. Generally, one author cannot premeditively kill another's ACs, unless they ask in advance and are given permission. It's an unspoken rule of ACdom. I'm not making this up. :P]

"They killed Pictos!" said one of the surface team members.

[Um, duh, mistah surface team dude. <.<]

"Luck," concluded another. "Who knew that Pictos had such a weakness? However, it seems that the more they all fight together, the more synchronized their battle strategies become. You saw how those three managed to work together to finish Pictos off."

"Obviously, this should make sense. The more powerful inhabitants would have resistance to the effects of the weapon."

"No, it has to be other reasons. Each one of them would have to have been way more powerful than Pictos too have naturally resisted the effects of the weapon. Let's contact the ship, tell them what we know."

[Yes, confirmation that all the ACs thus far don't individually surpass a creature like Pictos, and thus have their own unique means to how they evaded getting frozen in time.]
