Jake quickly reached into the man's pocket and slipped out a wallet. Surprisingly, the man had abruptly stopped his conversation and sort of stood there, rigid. Jake scratched his head and turned around, only to see a dog taking a whiz on a fire hydrant, only he stood as still as a mountain. In fact, it seemed all of the pedestrains of Onett had jst stopped all activity and froze in place. He looked up, confused, and gasped. The sky was a shifting pattern of reds and blues.

[So yeah, our first AC seems to have a thief complex. I'm not fully skimming ahead, so I don't know if this was a one-time thing Jake does, or if it happens more as the IF progresses.]

"What's going on?" he mused aloud. Everything was perfectly still. Much to his disbelief, a bird was hanging in midair with an equally rigid worm in its beak.

[Yeah, if I were Jake, or in a similar situation, I'd probably be even more freaked out at seeing a bird frozen in mid-air. But I'm sure some nature-watchers would jump at that kind of opportunity to get a good photo. :o]

"And why can I still move? What's going on?" Jake moaned. He shoved the hot wallet into his many-pocketed jacket and slowly walked over to the nearest building, the Hotel Onett. If I'm not stcuk, then other people must not be as well. I'm finding those people. He thought to himself as he stepped into the lobby...

[I'm not gonna try to make fun of typos and such things as I go along, as a general note, unless they end up unintentionally funny in context or such. I'm mentioning this here and now because this is really the first time a typo pops up in the IF.]

[EDIT: Actually, I was just informed by ZXD that appearantly he recalls this is the only time Cracked Bat posted in Frozen. Sad face.]
