While hoofing it to get to the others, Omedramon came across a small ball in the dirt-surprising he noticed it.

[The hell does "dirt-surprising" even mean? O_o]

It was Sushinchu, a.k.a. the four-star dragon ball.

[Ah... the ultimate 'Deus Ex Machina', or at least the standard against which all others are judged... the good ol' dragonballs. :P

Also a note: to be fair, I originally thought DrAndonuts had been the one to introduce them before I had gone back over this, being he had Brett and Zac being Saiya-jin. I guess PlasmaPenguin figured he wouldn't mind, thus introducing us to the next big plot device of the story. <.<]

"What's this?" Ness asked.

[It's a amber-colored tennis ball, Ness. Get with the program. :P]

"Beats me, but i'll bet on of the others know! C'mon!" Omedramon increased speed and dashed to the others.

[Well good to know the MDC didn't knock out his speed capabilities. >.>]

OK, my posts have been a tad bland lately. I'm best at bigger things-i suck at this. That's why I always add something new. Zac's a saiyan, he oughta know what Dragon Balls are...

[Ooooooh yeah... we almost all know what Dragonballs are. XD]

NOTE: Remember, the DBs grant 3 wishes once you get all seven...so use 1 of them to bring Brett back to life.

[Wut? o.O

Er... based on if you're going by EARTH dragonballs, at best you'd get TWO wishes, but early on it was JUST one. NAMEK'S dragonballs are the ones that grant three wishes, but those were the size of a man's head or bigger, compared to the size you're describing here Plasma. XD]

"Ungh... what happened?" Zac grabbed his head, his wounds healed.

[Yeah, that was probably just a rejuvenation tank for a bed. :P]

Memories of the past few hours flooded back to him. Anger started to fill him once again.

[Saiya-jins and their angered emotions... typical. :P]

But, he pushed it aside. I can't stay mad forever. Brett wouldn't want that.

[Well at least Zac has more control than Vegeta did in early-mid DBZ. :o
And yeah, obviously Brett was usually the calmer, more rational brother (for all the hell it served him trying to face down Crypha though :( ), while Zac's the brash, impulsive one. :P]

Walking out to the main hall where most of the others lounged, Omedramon and Ness came storming into the room.

[Probably still mad at getting blasted in the FACE by the MDC. :P]

"Does anyone know what this is?" Ness asked the group, revealing the small, amber sphere.

[Ness, it's a flapping tennis ball as I said before! D:<]

It can't be... Zac's mind started to race with hopes and dreams. Zac walked over to Ness, with the group staring at him in wonderment.

[Well it's safe to say Zac probably knows what it is, although it could be a fake too. >.>]

"I think I know what it is, but to be sure, I'm going to have the computer run some tests to make sure what it is..." Zac took the orb and ran into a different room. He set up a stand and set the ball on it.

[So a mass-spectrometer test? Oh sorry, it's a dragonball, not the damn Soul Cube from Doom 3. :P]

"Computer, analyze this object fully and completely and once the scan is complete, report to me as to what it is. Use all available databases and cross-check all facts with myths, legends, and fables."

[Because you know... the theory of "Fictional Realism" might be indeed in effect, you know. :P I won't bore you on what that is... go google it or something. <.<]
