Zac entered the training room, still angry and still
upset.
[And we know where this is going... at least you would if you ever watched Dragonball Z. :P]
"Computer, set the gravity to 1,000 times normal Earth
gravity."
[CRIPES. 1,000xENG?! Hell I doubt Vegeta reached that level at any point in DBZ. O_O
I do want to also chime in here. If you have read my Misfits story, I do address gravity training at some point and I state that a high 'powerlevel' does not automatically determine how much G-force a character can withstand.
What I'm saying is, while Sandra in most ways would probably be on or above Zac's level, she has no real experience with gravity training. Not to say she couldn't get used to it, but 10x would probably be the limit of how high she could start off on a first attempt, and even then it would be REALLY taxing on her. Again, STARTING levels, not maximum overall levels over time. I'm sure she'd see it as a surmountable challenge though and I could see her wanting to use the gravity chambers in the twins' complex to make her even stronger than she is now.]
"Are you sure, Zac? You haven't gone up that high
before."
[Yeah, so even he hasn't tried this before. Brett's death hit him particularly hard. :(]
"Do it!"
"Gravity changing now."
["...It's your funeral..." :P]
The
pressure increased instantly. Zac was crouching from the intense gravity.
Instantly, the anger inside him snapped. He transformed unconsciously and was up
again.
[Yeah, pretty standard Saiya-jin willpower being displayed here. :P]
"Set the training mode to the highest level it'll go!"
[Zac is just as damn suicidal as Vegeta is too. Then again, maybe that's the entire point of this... makes it sound a lot darker than DrA probably had intended it to sound. o.o]
The
computer complied and thousands of small energy orbs appeared. Due to the fairly
small space, there wasn't much room for movement.
"Begin!" The orbs
started to fly at a lightning fast pace. Zac fired a couple blasts to destroy
some of the orbs. Quickly he started to dodge the orbs as fast as he could,
occasionly getting brushed by the orbs. Slight burns started to form on his
body.
[Standard operating procedure here... nothing to see, move on. :P]
After an hour of keeping up that kind of pace, Zac started to slip.
[Oh geez, I only now of all times noticed he has lasted that long. o.o]
At first, one energy orb struck him square in the chest. Thus, a chain reaction
of strikes occured knocking Zac out of the air and to the ground.
[Ow... ._.]
He was
breathing heavily, seeing about a few hundred orbs bouncing around the ceiling.
Slowly standing up, his anger filled him. He started to scream, also summoning
his power as well. A wave of energy rushed off of Zac, destroying the rest of
the energy orbs.
[Still pretty standard operating procedure, I must say. A lot of this is still more or less your typical Vegeta-equse 'push myself to near-death to get better' kind of Saiya-jin training. :P]
Opening the door, Zac limped out of the room, tired and
injured. Burns, cuts, bruises, and a broken arm followed Zac from the training
room. The others saw him walking from the outside, concerned.
"Is he
trying to kill himself?" Glenn asked Kyle.
[I honestly don't know what his intention was either, Glenn. >.>]
"I'm not sure."
Zac
limped to his room and fell on to his bed. Before slipping into an unconscious
state, he told the computer, "Set the... regenerator up..."
[My guess is a regenerator is like a rejuvenation tank from Frieza's ship, but more in a lying form that can interface with someone's bed. Maybe Sandra should've used one and she would've been able to be present to face Crypha. :P]
