After dropping off Bob to recover in the infirmary, Sandra and Nebiroth returned to the main area to find Brett and Zac still trying to find volunteers to interogate ChaosGallentmon. The two had been thinking about going in, but Paula and Poo had walked up and caught their attention.

[Ah ha! So I had been considering having them join up. Thinking about it, Nebiroth does LOOK the part of having brute strength. :P]

"Sandra, are you and Nebiroth alright from the last fight?" Paula asked her sister with concern. "Yeah, I'm unharmed. That guy didn't even see me. Nebiroth is to thank for distracting him while I summoned Hydra though." Sandra replied with a small smile from her responce.

[Yeah, Gallent doesn't even know of her just yet. In fact, I think she and Nebiroth are still mostly unknown of to the Nomad's crew as threats right now.]

"Hydra?" asked Poo. "I can summon various spirits of fallen beings that I met or fought in my last 10 years of my life. I have much I need to tell you all about my past 10 years, but there is not enough time with our situation."

[Again, avoiding the need to go into a long boring explaination of Sandra's backstory. You better thank me guys. :P]

"How did you return home, sis?" asked Paula. "Well, after the destruction of Sardius and most of the Phantom Zone..." Sandra paused a second to look at Nebiroth, who seemed indifferent to her mentionings at the time, "I became very homesick, and a group of mages that had moved into these towers behind my village learned of my plight, and they offered to take me home. They took me back to the towers, and used their powers to reach into old childhood memories of my first five years on Earth, and they found the way to talk me home, and summoned a gate I used to return here, however when I arrived, I found the world to be Frozen in time, and you guys were also among the frozen. I found Dad behind some odd door in an observatory under the meteorite in Onett, and he and two of his friends were totally unaffected. I believe the door had something to do with it. But soon I learned by Dispelling magic could nullify the time field, so I used it to free a friend of Dad's, Mom, you, and your friends."

[This is me making a mention of the door in the observatory and the possible use it can serve to the plot in the future of the IF.

Also, just to clarify, Sandra's magic isn't unlimited in supply. She does have like any decent character, an MP level that does eventually run out, but Sandra has a lot of MP even when compared to most mage-type characters. :P]

"I see, so it was you I have to thank for being free." Poo said, "Thank you. You definately are brave to go through the stuff you have to help us." "You don't know the half of what I truly had to go through on Santranus, but as I said, now is no time to give full stories on my pasts. It'll take days, maybe weeks to explain it to you all. But I feel you and your two friends Ness and Jeff are good friends of Paula, and I thank you all for working together, and making sure nothing happened to you during you quest to fight Giygas."

[LOL, I don't think Paula's told Sandra just yet about her possible relationship with Ness. :P]

"What?! How did you know about Giygas?!" asked Paula. "Well, Mom gave me a brief explanation of the things you went through, including the fact you were kidnapped twice." Paula blushed furiously, hating those two times. There were times she wished she had the same form of bravery as Sandra had, and those had been two of those times.

[Yeah, this is a bit of a hot topic to me on the subject of Paula in general, in case some people cared to get a bit into my head about it. I can understand the first time she wasn't prepared and all to be kidnapped. The second time gets a bit under my skin in one way. Not the premise of her getting kidnapped itself, as the impression it gives to far too many writers of EB stories that are sequels or fanmade: that Paula is almost always little more than a Damsel-in-Distress. I got my own theory about the second kidnapping in EB, so I don't dislike that in and of itself, more of the impression it leaves. :(]

"Sorry. I didn't mean anything by that, though." Sandra said, taking note of her sister's blush, "If it were me with little experience, I'd probably be in a similar position. I didn't get back home all by myself... I had many people who had to save my life at various times... Darren... Gaibon... they both saved my life once, Darren saved me when I first made it to Santranus, and Gaibon... gave his life up to save me, and two of our other friends from certain death. It was also a miracle I survived Sardius."

[Yeah, all this, and we still know little of Sardius and their battle. But yeah, as strong as Sandra was, she didn't get everywhere all by herself either. :P]

Nebiroth had perked up at that mentioning this time, and decided to speak, "Sandra! Thank Wizard too! Wizard healed you after you destroy Sardius." "The Jester Wizard?! He restored me after the Sardius fight?! I thought I ran that one on miracles alone." "You still had survived. He heal you to thank you. He said Sardius oppressed Phantom Zone in past. You kill him, you save the denizens of Phantom Zone, even if all dead."

[Yeah, Sardius... he was sorta at first an honorable ruler of the Phantom Zone... as far as I recall, but eventually the power got to him that he really became oppressive like the previous two rulers before him, Astaroth and Loki.]

At this point, Sandra had a new, flashing question in her mind, and turned to Paula. "Paula, is Mr. Everdred okay?" "Mr. Everdred? It's been almost 1 year since I saw him. Last time I did see him was before I was kidnapped by Carpainter. Ness told me he and Everdred met in Twoson prior to his arrival at Happy Happy Village. He also said he last saw Everdred in Fourside when he was beaten up and had the Mani Mani statue stolen from him by men of Monotoli. We don't know were he went after that." Paula replied.

[Another personal thing I have: I don't think Everdred ever really died in Fourside. It's very possible he faked his death for a while in case Monotoli, Pokey or anyone working for them were looking out for him, but then slinked back into Twoson quietly a little while after EB ended. However I do believe the experience made him more willing to travel to world and see it for himself as well, hence his whereabouts not currently being known here. :P]

Sandra went into a mental panic, "We have to find out what happened to him! I have to let him know I'm alright if he's still alive! I need to also know how he was. He's a good friend of ours, Paula! He gave us help and advice when Mom and Dad were unable to."

[Yeah, Everdred has always given the impression he cares a lot about Paula's well being in EB, and in this case it only makes sense he'd care a lot about Sandra as well, even after she vanished, in the off case, she came back someday, like now. >.>]

Paula somehow felt suddenly reinvigorated by her sister's pleas. It was like both sisters were once again going to wear on each other like when they were toddlers. "You're right! We need to find some way to stop this time freeze so we can find out about the whereabouts of Mr. Everdred!" she replied. Poo, who was sitting near them asked, "Yes, I would also like to know more about him. Ness and Jeff told me that they last saw him before you guys reached Summers. I also heard from Ness that Everdred was the only person who knew you had been taken to Happy Happy Village back then, Paula. Everdred, according to Ness, was quite helpful, even for a thief.

[Everdred's not a thief! He's a TREASURE HUNTER! XD

And yes, I found it interesting Poo never gets to see or meet Everdred yet the other three do. I feel poor Poo was left out of a lot of things. I should've given him a bit more attention in the past writings I did. :\]

"He only uses the thief profession for reputation in Twoson, to make sure people don't attempt to do dirty business in Burglin Park." Sandra replied, remembering Mr. Everdred telling her and Paula about that when the two had seen him steal a spice vendor's Jar of Delisauce in those days, and confronted him about it.

[It would be amusing to see Everdred sweating to figure out an explaination for two angry 4-year old girls to why he steals stuff. XD]

"Yes, we need to figured out about where Mr. Everdred could've gone, and if he's even still alive." Poo said, agreeing. Sandra looked over to Nebiroth, who took the look as a question and replied, "I go with you as well. You defeat Sardius, you save us. I am part guardian to you now, Pink-Haired Brat." he said with one of his old insults, but not with his usual hoarse voice, but with a chuckle, and then a little chuckle in his face.

[When Nebiroth chuckles, it honestly scares me just a bit... maybe it's the way I imagine his voice. :O]

"We need to see how that one intruder is going with his interogation." said Poo. Nebiroth was about to agree, but then a heard a familar and shrill sound, "FOOD!!!" "Augh! Stupid stomach face!!" Nebiroth growled, realizing he was once again agonizingly hungry. They went to see if Zac or Brett had any food stored around for poor Nebiroth and his stomach, before the high-notes from his stomach face did some possible damage to something in the complex...

[Yeah, but I don't know how Brett or Zac will find a way to take their annoyance out on Nebi if he did break something. I don't think they know about the weakness in his face just yet at this point. XD]
